In fulfilling our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ by teaching, equipping, and sending, we will continue to be faithful and consistent in proclaiming the gospel and providing expositional preaching of God’s Word each week. This is core to who we are at Mission Fellowship and core to our equipment as saints for the work of ministry. In addition, we have found that there is a need for an environment that can provide additional teaching and discussion amongst its participants. These smaller groups, traditionally called “Sunday School Classes” are helpful in working through many of the topics that cannot be covered in-depth during a Sunday Gathering. Sunday Seminars have therefore been developed to provide that much needed depth of interaction with topics that are important in our lives as His disciples. In these smaller, classroom-style groups, specific topics will be viewed through a biblical lens and discussed amongst attendees so that they might sharpen one another in service to Christ. These seminars that range from 5 weeks to 10 weeks in length, with one gathering per week, are meant to engage those who attend on an academic level in the same way our Community Groups and Discipleship Groups engage those who attend on a more relational level. Pre-requisite reading will usually be required for each class, and attendees will be asked to commit to attendance of the courses in their entirety. Whether a regular attendee or a covenant member, we hope that you will join us for one or many of these helpful seminars. Unless otherwise noted, we generally recommend that Sunday Seminars are most productive for anyone over the age of 14.
